Former Preston North End and England football legend, Sir Tom Finney OBE, made a surprise visit to Much Hoole Woodland Burial Ground in 2007.

We spent a lovely evening with him - had a long chat and a cup of tea - and had a nice walk around the grounds together.

We were very honoured that he took the time to come along and visit us - a great man!
